посвящение чего-то так, чтобы «мана» жертвы достигла богов.
2. Духи, так же как и люди, нуждаются в
том, чтобы быть накормленными и чтобы кто то заботился о них. Жертва
обеспечивает такую заботу.
1. Sacrifice is the giving up of something
so that the “mana” of the sacrificed item goes to the gods.
2. Spirits as well as men need
to be fed and cared for and this provides for that care.
